Tell us how we are doing...
Your views are important: we’re always keen to hear how we are performing. Below are some of the ways that you can express praise, concerns and questions.
Speak to your class teacher...
We hold parents’ evenings each year. However, informal meetings can be more effective. Parents are encouraged to keep in close contact with the school – class teachers are normally available before or after school for you to contact. Should you need longer, a meeting can be arranged to suit both parties. These meetings can be arranged if you have specific concerns or would like to know more about how to support your child. Please also see the
'Learn More & Kidzone'
for lots of supportive ways to continue learning at home.
Speak with the Headteacher...
In addition to speaking with your class teacher, Mrs Dambach can provide you with an overview of your child’s learning, as well as talk about ways to support you and your child. All feedback is treated sensitively and appropriately – feedback is integral to the development of Horton Lodge and all its stakeholders.
Pick up a pen or send us an email...
If you’ve got some feedback for us, you could
send us an email
or a short note. If you are writing to us you can drop your messages into the main school office. One of our receptionists will be more than happy to pass these on. Should you wish to send your message by post you can find our

Make a complaint...
We believe that we can keep complaints to a minimum by forging strong positive relations with everyone connected with the school and by having in place very good lines of communication. However, Should you feel the need to make a complaint it should be made in writing to the Mrs Dambach (Headteacher). For futher information of how we will deal with your complaint please see our complaints policy in the
