Be part of our school community.
Many school activities take place such as day educational visits or longer activity holidays, planned with parents’ full consultation and approval.
Class groups attend educational visits linked to the curriculum. Seasonal activities feature strongly in the curriculum. Christmas and Easter, and the festivals of other religions, are all opportunities to celebrate and join in community life.
All educational outings are carefully planned by Teachers and reflect the children's individual timetables and curriculum experiences. It provides an opportunity to further enhance the children's learning experiences.
Prior to any visit you will receive a letter from school outlining details of the visit. Attached to the letter there will be a permission slip which you will need to complete and return to school to enable your child to take part in the visit.
Also on the letter there will be details of any costs, this cost is voluntary.
Only staff who hold the Staffordshire minibus driving permit may drive the school minibus.
All staff who organise an 'out of school activity' must seek the approval of the Headteacher.
